When you read this, you’re either going to laugh at me, click off this blog, or maybe unfollow me, if you happen to be following me. But here goes:
I am having trouble following you guys. Now I’m not saying that I follow EVERY blog, but I do like to reciprocate when someone follows me. I like to show my support. But every time I think I’m following someone, I find out that I’m not. I don’t know about you, but when I read a person’s blog, I click the follow button on top of the blog. OR, when I get a notification that someone’s following me, I go to their blog and follow them. BUT just now, I went to look at my list of blog followers, and those whom I follow, and there’s like nobody there. AND I know that there are. AND I know that I’ve clicked on that follow button thingy. SO, don’t think I’m a real dummy, but can someone tell me what I’m doing wrong?
Your’s truly
Val, the metaphysical, anxiety expert who can’t figure out how to click a button.
When you’re logged into WordPress and want to read the blogs you follow, from your Dashboard click on the WordPress icon in the top left corner, from there click “Read Blogs,” and all the blogs you follow will show up in a list there.
Thanks Dienna, now my next question is: when I want to follow, do I just click the follow button up on top?
Yep!
Great, thanks.
cool blog, I just “followed” you, or did I? 0.o
ahh, I’m not sure, let me double check that. Yep, you did, and I just followed you, I think :0)
Then I think we’ve both past this test lol 😛
Hot damn! I’m not turning stupid-eeza 🙂
Lol. Same problem here. I ended up following my own blog! I still am looking for the follow button here.
Just remember to not push the “Follow” button when viewing your own blog and you’ll be fine.
hehe, I did that already. And now I’m following myself… lol
hahaha, I did the same thing. In fact, I just left it. Every time I look up, I see the UNFOLLOW button. I guess we really do have a lot in common lol
It looks your follow button on bottom is for people to sign up for email. Unless they are in their wordpress, where it tends to show up on the upper right hand side. I will test it soon for you.
Hi Lisa, thank you so much for going through the trouble. I figured out that to follow within WP, the follow button is up on the lefthand side. At least on my settings.
It worked, I did it from my hubby’s and my High Technology Scrubs blog about infectious diseases. See if you can tell on your end..
I don’t see a follow button on the bottom here. Maybe you can see something that I don’t??
But I did see the notification signal (in orange) that you’ve like my blog and followed me. I followed you back. 🙂 I think lol
Yes, you got it! 🙂
